Life Stories - The Playshop! is an opportunity for participants

to share their "life stories” in a safe and supportive atmosphere.


Participants explore moments in their lives and create

a fitting performance piece including documentation. 

Facilitator serves as guide to activate this process

for participants to be in touch with and expressing their authentic self.

(Audiotaping and photography can be included).

This versatile program is ideally suited for senior adult communities

in many venues including assisted living facilities, day care centers, Alzheimer’s patients,

religious and social community groups who care to document their stories and present to community.

I returned with some wonderful techniques in mind to expound on and explore with a writing ministry I'm endeavoring to start at my church in Brooklyn.  I look forward to working with you again.

Facilitator: Harriet Lynn has produced and directed theatre and

movement performances, workshops and training sessions in arts,

humanities and wellness related programs for over 30 years.

Ms. Lynn is the Artistic Director of the Howard County Arts Council’s Fabulous 50+ Players,

a senior theatre company since 2000, and has been a social programming

and wellness consultant with federal and local government agencies

for senior adults and intergenerational groups including

the Eating Together and Baltimore City Recreation & Parks - Senior Division.
